A month ago, the mail poetry exhibition in the former prison of Avellino closed its doors. (Though, you can still visit the collection on facebook.) The show featured texts from international writers as well as poetic statements by Italian children.
When organizer Graziella Di Grezia raised an artistic call for poetry on postcards, she was overwhelmed by the reactions. She received about 400 cards from 20 countries, many of them with sophisticated design.
The submissions were arrangend by countries. As you can see, the only item from Austria is Gerald Jatzek’s poem.
The Portal wwwItalia.eu called the exhibition a lucky marriage between art and poetry.
