Thinking in Dialogues

Socratic dialogue, also known as the Socratic method, is a type of philosophical discussion that dates back to the ancient Greek philosopher Socrates (ca. 469–399 BCE). It is a way of gaining knowledge through questions and answers.

The Greek philosopher’s strategy of acquiring and presenting knowledge through dialogue has lost none of its appeal. The Romanian Inter-Art Foundation is seeking mail art that explores the theory and practice, as well as the applications and limits, of dialogue.

Dialogue can be interpreted intercultural, interhuman, and intercontinental.

The Foundation will organize an exhibition as an integral part of the Festivalul Școala Ardeleană (Alba Fest) in October 2026. The festival features events in the fields of literature, art, science, and cultural history.
