The French city of Valenciennes is located on the banks of the Scheldt river near the border between France and Belgium. It belongs to the region of Hauts-de-France (Upper France).
Yesterday, the opening of the exhibition C’est beau le jaune (Yellow is beautiful) took place in the central La Maison Des Associations. It was preceded by a call for mail art from the cultural association Le cahier allant vers, which resulted in a large international participation.
