The bookshop Bücherkiste in Burg, a bookshop in Burg (Dithmarschen), a community in northern Germany, is looking for mail art with the theme bookworms. Acceptable submissions include drawings, paintings, graphics, art prints, photos, collages, sketches, doodles, and more.
Requirements
They accept all submissions that are not offensive.
- The maximal size is 148 x 210 mm (5.8 x 8.3 inch) or DIN A5.
- The minimal size is 105 x 148 mm (4.1 x 5.8 inch) or DIN A6.
They accept all submissions that are not offensive and include the artist’s email address, as well as the address, zip code, city, state, and country, and the title of the work on the back.
The artwork will be displayed as part of an analog exhibition at the Bücherkiste . A digital reproduction will be posted on the bookstore’s Instagram account. In both cases, the title of the artwork, the artist’s full name and/or artist name, and the work’s geographical origin will be included.
After the analog exhibition, the works of art will be archived together.
The digital catalogue will be sent to the participants via e-mail.
