Your Vision of a bright Future

The Northern Kentucky University has launched an open call for mail art with the theme My Own Utopia:

If you could create a perfect Utopia, what would it look like?

All work must be original and no larger than 10′ × 10″ × 10″ (25,4 cm × 25,4 cm × 25,4 cm). This can include anything that can be mailed, including postcards, zines, stickers, stamps, comics, cartoons, paintings, drawings, art prints, collages, sculptures, etc.

Entries should be appropriate for all ages.

Hopefully the artists’ visions of the future are more positive than H.G. Wells’ utopia.

Mail art should be sent to:

ATTN: Paige Wideman, Gallery Director
NKU, School of the Arts
1 Louie B. Nunn Drive, FA 327
Highland Heights, KY 40199
USA

All submissions must be postmarked no later than Friday, February 14, 2025.

Exhibitions

The works will be shown in the NKU’s art gallery. Furthermore, there will be a virtual exhibition on the university’s website.
