A Reply and a Call

A few days ago, we showed you some items that reached MailYourArt from Berlin. Today it’s time to show the reply mail to Ulli Kattenstroth, a longtime mail art activist whose work can be found all over the place and beyond.

The reply mail included a watercolor sketch by Gabriele Müller and an asemic text by Gerald Jatzek. Or does it make sense nonetheless?

eMail Art Call

Ulli’s current project is a call for art on the topic climate change – a game changer?

He is looking for visual works in postcard size (105 x 148 mm), photos, drawings, paintings, digital works, a.s.o., or texts with not more than 100 words (poems, prose, essays,  visions, tales, a s.o.). All languages are welcome. Look for more information on Ullis website.

Online Exhibition

58 artists, authors, bloggers, photographers and poets from all over the world took part in Ulli’s virtual project. Among them are Horst Tress, Bernhard Zilling and Birgitte Volz Germany, Claudio Gavina and Ruggero Maggi (Italy), Haydar Tascilar and Eren Görgülü (Turkey), Irina Tall (Belarus), Josif Mihailo (Romania) and Gilles Labruyere (France).

The postcard migrant birds, a collective work by Gabriele Müller and Gerald Jatzek, was also included in the collection.
