Time Travel to ancient Egypt

The Book of the Dead is a collection of ancient Egyptian mortuary texts that were written between 2000 BC and 50 BC. The main purpose of the magic spells was to guide and assist a dead person on their journey through the underworld.

The Portuguese artist BroTTas is a longtime admirer of the book, and he wants the contributors to use the collection for mail art.

All the works that he receives will be uploaded to a website and his social media presences. He intends to publish them in a book (if possible) to create a collective work.

  • Type: You may draw, create illustrations from zero, copy, paste, cut, paint print, stamp …
  • Material: You may use all materials.
  • Provide personal information such as name, email, website, social media accounts, etc.
  • Deadline: That’s when the editor can’t put any more works in the book.
