The Ukrainian mail artist Lubomyr Tymkivis has started a call to support people undergoing psychiatric treatment in the Inpatient Ward No. 2 in Lviv, Ukraine. These are people whose lives have been affected by the horrors of war and who are now seeking rehabilitation and recovery.
He states: “To bring them some joy and help them return to everyday life, I have proposed organizing a mail art exhibition on the theme of flower at the hospital.”
The works should be in one of the following international standard sizes: A6, A5 or A4.
All techniques are welcome, e.g., collage, rubber stamps, drawing, or painting. Handmade works are especially welcome, as he hopes to involve patients in therapeutic art activities and encourage them to create their own artworks.
