Two international Art Calls

From the Jack Zipes Historic Fairy Tale Postcard Collection, CC 2.0

Two art calls that allow for wide-ranging interpretations have reached us from Italy.

About Childhood

The scuola dell’Infanzia (preschool) “Gli Aquiloni” is looking for mail art that answers to the questions:

  • What is a child?
  • What does a child do?

Preschool teachers from Rosà, a small town in the province of Vicenza, want to raise awareness in the school community about mail art as both an art form and a broader form of communication.

There will be an exhibition at the school. The call is curatorated by Debora Siviero. Feel free to contact her at debora.svr@gmail.com if you have any questions.

The call does not specify any maximum dimensions for the works. The standard size of DIN A6 (10.5 x 14.8 cm; 4.1 x 5.8 inches) will certainly not cause any problems.
